POSITION TITLE: FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE FLOATER

JOB LOCATION: First State Bank Nebraska - Pickrell (Home Branch)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Energetic and able to adapt to working with customers and employees at multiple bank branches.
  • Be available to work at any bank branch location.
  • Maintain an organized schedule and be flexible to scheduling changes.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Process teller transactions
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer
  • Capture transaction images and accurately complete proof work.
  • Open new accounts and CD’s
  • Respond to Customer Service inquiries
  • Promote FSB products and services to customers and non-customers
  • Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash handling experience and/or customer service experience a plus.    

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products
  • Detail oriented, flexible, possess analytical and organizational skills and problem solving abilities
  • Strong desire to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers

WORK HOURS: Available to work Monday through Friday during normal branch operating hours.

POSITION TITLE: FULL-TIME LOAN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

JOB LOCATION: First State Bank Nebraska - Cortland Branch

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Process loan documents after loan closing for the assigned loan officer(s) which will include working with other inter-company departments, scanning documents into Suntell, maintaining proper loan file compliance and maintaining electronic loan files.
  • File liens and record legal documents electronically in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update all ticklers for the assigned loan officer(s) utilizing the Suntell system.  This may include contacting customers as directed by the officer(s) through verbal or written correspondence.
  • Verbal and email communication with loan officer(s) on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with customers and external agencies via phone, mail and e-mail.  Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.  Close loans with customers if requested by lending officer.
  • Assist loan officer(s) in preparing new loans for processing by gathering documents and inputting loan requests on Suntell or as requested by officer(s).
  • Assist loan officer(s) in the administration of the loan portfolio.  This may include corresponding with past due loan customers, requesting loan modifications and/or extensions and assisting with any exceptions or recommendations of internal audit findings.
  • Perform specialized and/or confidential duties; including researching, inputting and analyzing data, inputting information onto Suntell.
  • Maintain well-organized and complete loan files using checklists and following lending regulations. 
  • Keep informed and updated on any changes to lending policy or regulation by attending internal training sessions and/or other training events as assigned.
  • Demonstrate proficiency at a variety of different software programs, such as Navigator, Director and Suntell.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in consumer and/or commercial loans as a lending assistant or higher capacity preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of personal computer (Microsoft Office products).
  • Must be attentive to detail and very accurate.
  • Use of general office machines.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and other employees.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize work flow.
  • Knowledge of lending compliance and software.
  • Organizational skills, courtesy and diplomacy.

WORK HOURS: Available to work during normal bank operating hours and as required by manager.
